“People of the world are really the same as the cells of the human body. Let’s look at the world as a living organism: for one country to wage war on another is like the brain attacking the heart.

“What you end up with is heart dis-ease. The same on the planet - war between countries only hurts the world and should now be treated like a disease or illness.

“If there were a war going on in the human body there would be dis-ease; one would become aware of this, with the feeling of pain.

“It would be described, for example, as liver failure, as the cells would have died due to constant bombardment of the immune system, or too much work, or pollution within the body. The same with the planet; there is a need to respect the wholeness and oneness of life on our planet.

“If we find conflict in the world, treat it with love not war. War destroys the organs of the living world like liver or heart dis-ease; while love is like healing, bringing new growth, balance and health to the diseased area.

“We are now moving into the New Earth - a time when we see and experience the wholeness of life. Let’s all start to breathe love into areas of conflict and bring healing both to ourselves and the planet on which humans live.

“What this portrays is a comparison, which really makes you think: It is said that the rain forests are the lungs of the world, oxygenating the air.

“The human body is made of about 70% water and the planet’s surface is covered with about the same area as water. The weather mainly involves the movement of water or water vapour.

“The emotions flow through the water in the body and often come to the surface as expressions of emotions through tears in the eyes; while with the weather one may talk of an angry storm or a chill wind. When feeling a little depressed one may talk of the dark clouds hanging over us.

“As people learn to calm their feelings, the weather patterns will come back into balance. Let’s learn to love and respect all life and see it as a part of ourselves.

“The different countries can take on the different qualities of the body. For example the skin colour of the people in each region differs.

“Many of the people of Africa and the Caribbean have a skin colour resembling the colour of the liver and kidneys. Our blood is red, our bile is yellow, and the pupils of our eyes are black, till one can find an example of all the colours of all the races in the world within the cell colours of the body.

“The body does not suffer from colour conflicts within itself, even though the cells are all different colours. Let’s see the world as a whole body and the people as the cells and let’s all pull in the same direction to make the world a whole and healthy place to live.

“Let’s see the oneness and wholeness of life and breathe love and support into war-torn regions of the world.”

HealerGeorge gave hands-on healing to a woman in Skelmersdale, Lancashire who had been diagnosed with a brain tumour. When the tumour later spontaneously left her body, she attributed it to the healing she had received from HealerGeorge.

A few London Stock Exchange brokers and traders are wondering what benefits, if any, would be realized from merging with Nasdaq? The answer to that question is that no one is entirely sure.

CEO of the London exchange, Clara Furse, declined Nasdaq’s $4.1 billion offer almost fourteen days ago, as she has previously declined multiple similar proposals since taking charge of the exchange five years prior.

However many investors in London are extremely optimistic that a winning bid is coming from the US that they have hedged the stock prices of the London exchange by a hearty twenty percent above the offer, even as the market continues to loose its footing and slip from its high point on Monday. During the Day Thursday, values edged up 1.5 pence, to finish at £11.395.

In spite of the frenzy of many London exchange investors looking to liquidate their shares in the near future, a few market players are less than hopeful about merging the markets. The cynics also include a former Nasdaq executive.

“I’m not sure those advantages are so great,” stated Lynton Jones, former chief executive of Nasdaq International “If you are able to create one company with one set of technology, one rule book and one set of regulations, then you begin to see cost reductions.”

It appears unlikely in any combination of the London exchange and a United States market, Mr. Jones said. A recent visit by Nasdaq executives and investors who possess long standing and well established positions in the London exchange did not help in efforts to clear up the predicament, individuals who have been briefed on the talks say.

“It’s still sort of a chess match,” said Richard H. Repetto, an analyst with Sandler O’Neill & Partners. Nasdaq and London market officials have not conferred face to face or floated an offer since its initial disclosure on March 10th of this year.

Possible complexities of any integration are intimidating to a large extent. Both the Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange are in the process of buying new and different trading technologies. Nasdaq acquired the electronic brokerage and trading platform Instinet last year and is switching to the Inet system. The London exchange just invested millions of pounds into a new digital platform known in the industry as Sets that will go online next year.

Another issue that is currently muddying the waters is also one of the items that makes London so attractive to the Nasdaq and others; the differences in regulation. Immediately after Nasdaq’s initial proposal, the Securities and Exchange Commission of the USA and the Financial Services Authority (F.S.A.) of Britain made a formal agreement promising to substantially increase their mutual cooperation. The chairman of the S.E.C., Christopher Cox, said he could not foresee future regulatory obstacles to consolidation, and also stated regulators would be wise not to “suffocate transactions.”

Nasdaq’s offer comes along with London’s strength is beginning to compete with New York, as it attracts international investors and emerging capital. British officials are promising heavy support for this merger. A new international business council continues to be one of the top locations for international company’s most valued activities.

The U.S./Israel coalitions have been at odds with the Iranian government over Iran’s nuclear program. Diplomatic efforts have soured over the U.S. Israeli belief that Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons. Learning is so much easier when food is involved, especially a favorite sweet treat. A type of treat that has been very popular among children and many grown-ups is cookies, whether they are store-bought or homemade.

“Study bake” was my favorite after school activity as a child. At least once a month, when I came home from school in the middle of the afternoon and after a quick snack, I would gather and measure ingredients to prepare a dough for cookies.

Then, I would do my homework or chores while my cookie dough was chilling in the refrigerator. After dinner, my sister and I shaped the dough and baked our cookies. Sometimes, my mother would thankfully offer a third pair of hands.

Baking those delicious, not-so-perfect cookies has taught me many practical and useful lessons.

• Whenever time was not a constraint, cookies usually turned out as good as I would expect them to. That only happened when I was organized and managed my time effectively.

• Paying attention to detailed instructions in a recipe, especially when measuring ingredients, insured a successful baking experience. A slight difference in the amount of key ingredients could have a significant impact on quality of the finished product.

• Baking cookies as a team has brought my sister and me closer. Subconciously, we knew that the fruits of our labor would be more tasting if we shared fairly.

My mother was particularly delighted whenever we baked because we were away from the television set and practicing a skill.

Baking is still my passion even though it has extended beyond cookies. I especially love it when kids want me to bake with them. That’s why my nieces and I are going to make cookie bouquets this weekend.
