NetDepot Launches New Enterprise Storage Deployment
Global Net Access announced the deployment of its true enterprise-level storage along with the launch of the HP Storageworks within its group of companies. This will include NetDepot and AtlantaNAP. The said deployment will cover iSCSI SAN-storage that is based on HP Lefthand Networks Virtual SAN technology. The solution is expected to allow the company to offer cost-effective and highly available disaster recovery solutions to its clients.
Global Net Access now comes with a 100 percent uptime solution because clients are now able to send traffic between Dallas and Atlanta location. The solution fits with an enterprise client’s need for mission critical storage. GNAX/NetDepot is a provider of managed and unmanaged servers, catering to a diverse group of corporate and enterprise customers. It uses the GNAX Gold network to offer top performance and redundancy to clients.
AtlantaNAP, on the other hand, is a collocation facility based in Atlanta and implemented by Global Access, LLC.
NetDepot president Jeff Hinkle states that HP Storageworks is a great server solution that the company is proud to offer its clients. The company chose the hardware brand due to its high reliability and top performance - things that are crucial for the business to meet the growing demand for high-availability solutions. Hinkle further stated that the new service will help bring a number of older storage services and solutions closer to the end of their lifecycle at the soonest possible time. As clients grow more excited about the new solutions, the older services are finding themselves growing obsolete faster than expected.
The project will be completed and released for general consumption by October of this year.
