You can’t go wrong if you decide to give your wedding guests edible wedding favors as these are always appreciated. The next decision to be made is which type to use; sweet or savory and whilst there are no hard and fast rules on this, most guests will prefer to have sweet! Almost everyone appreciates a bar of chocolate and they will appreciate it more if it has a wrapper designed for the occasion. Filled chocolate whether white, plain or milk will always be a favorite but you can improve on this by having a peanut or almond center. Making the wrapper personal to the couple adds a special touch when you see their names and other details of the wedding printed on it.

Some brides and grooms may even decide to have their pictures on the wrapper along with their names and the wedding date. Why not have a tin filled with different types of candy as your edible wedding favor to your guests. Guests are more likely to hold onto the tin as a keepsake if there is a reminder of where they were given it so placing the wedding details on the tin makes sense. The guests may eat the candy soon after the wedding but they can keep the candy tin as a reminder of your wedding; they can use it to store other small items such as change, sewing needles, rubber bands or virtually anything which is small enough to be stored in them. Candy will probably remain a favorite edible wedding favor for some time because it is so popular.

People that cannot make up their minds how to present the candy should consider placing it decorative bowl n the center of the table. If you want to go one step further, why not find a presentation box or container that matches the wedding and leave one for each guest to use. Cookies are an edible wedding favor that many people overlook but can be just (if not more) appealing. These can also be presented in a box or a tin with details of the wedding printed on them as a special keepsake for the guests.

Many modern bakeries are able to produce this sort of cookie relatively simply as all they need is your personal design or select one of theirs. With the variety of teas and coffees available these days, there is no reason why these cannot be the edible wedding favors used by the couple. You can select specialty cocoas, teas or coffees or you can have the packaging customized to include your picture, an appropriate quotation, poem or other message related to loves and weddings. Putting the couple’s names as well as the wedding date on the package is a good idea as well as including a picture of the couple. With a little bit of imagination it is surprising how effective even simple ideas can be.

your home organization goals by getting rid of items in your
home that you don’t need. That way you’ll be able to see
(perhaps literally) which items remain that you do need to
organize at home. Think you NEED to keep everything that’s in

4. …you’ve got five others of the exact same (or quite
similar) item.

5. …you can’t fit into it anymore.

6. …it doesn’t fit (or fits awkwardly) in your home.

7. …it doesn’t work anymore.

8. …you don’t know how to use it and you don’t plan to learn.

9. …it’s expired.

10. …it’s one of a matching pair and the match has long since
vanished.

You can make these 10 clutter buster guidelines work for you to
kick off your home organization goals with a little friendly
competition involving immediate family members who live in your
home. Have each family member do a walk through room-by-room in
your home today with the list above. Make sure no one room is
off limits to anyone. Have each person list items they think
belong under each of the 10 comments above.

Then gather together afterward to compare lists. Award the
family member with the most (legitimate) items on the list a
prize. Then get together and rid your home of those items you
each wrote on the list.

By having multiple family members independently create their
list of items, objective attention will be given to all items in
your home and you’ll have more family buy-in for your home
organization plan. Do this today and you’ll be off to a fun and
practical start for meeting this year’s home organization goal.

Picture this; you are invited to a baby shower. How do you show
your appreciation for the hostess who had put the whole affair
together? By giving her thank you gifts. This is the best way to
show a little thanks to the person who put the whole affair
together.

The demand for gifts for the hostess began when a hostess did an
extraordinary job putting the baby shower together. The guests
were so happy with the way the baby shower and activities were
arranged that they decide to give her a small gift.

Now baby showers normally have decorations, food, drinks, and
even games with some prizes. The hostess gifts do not have to be
very costly. You could pool your resources with others and buy a
lovely piece of jewelry as a gift.

Every girl loves jewelry. If there are several of you purchasing
gifts for the hostess together, she would be at loss for words

If you do not know the hostess that well you could consider

hostess will surely get a great deal of use from it.

Chocolates, flowers and wine…simply irresistible:
Some more
traditional hostess gifts are things such as chocolates and
wine. No doubt these gifts are sweet little tokens of
appreciation. The best kinds of chocolates to receive are ones
that you would normally never buy yourself. So splurge a little
and find a fancy brand of chocolates in a unique box. They make
for fantastic gifts for the baby shower hostess. If you are
planning on giving wine, you can choose red or white, although
red is more common for gifts.

Flowers are another traditional gift. You can bring a lovely
bouquet with you, or even send them to her house the next day.
Another great idea is a beautiful potted plant. This way the
hostess can enjoy your gift for much longer than she would cut
flowers. Try to find a plant which flowers occasionally, such as

Candles are an

has probably spent many hours just making sure everything is
perfect for the new mom and the guests. It is no small task to

hosting a baby shower, then you have to bring something for all
of them or none of them. You could also have the baby shower at
one of the hostess’s house. That doesn’t mean the others sharing
the hosting duties have done less work. So the baby shower gifts
have to be given to each of the hostesses for the invaluable
work done.
